The lighthouse birdhouses are put together by men who have either graduated our GRACE Discipleship Program, or are in our Discipleship Program. As the purchase form reveals, you can order the birdhouses in two standard colors: red on white, or black on white. You can also request whatever colors you prefer. We will paint them to your specifications if you like.

But most importantly, the lighthouses represent the work of former homeless men for whom these lighthouse birdhouses have great meaning. The light of the world has been their guiding light in rescuing them from the streets. The birdhouses are symbolic of that rescue. Each one of the birdhouses are handcrafted and signed by the man who put the house together. It is both a labor of love for the Savior, and for those of you who support The Union Gospel Mission and support them in their continuing efforts to better their lives.
